This win made Alan Paredew more secure about his job at St.James Park.

Newcastle got in control of the match in the second half when scored twice.In the first half the best came John Terry had a few headers,he hit the post once and the second time a Newcastle player cleared the ball off the line.Plus in the first half there was unpleasant  weather conditions ,it was raining .

Mourinho seemed confused and lost because he didn’t  know what to do and he wasnt sure how fix the situation.

Chieck Tiote limped off with a thigh injury eight minutes after the half time.

Gouffran scored the first goal   on the 68 minute from a great free kick from from french international Cabaye.s

Substitutes Willian and Samuel Eto’o went close for Chelsea in the latter stages, but Remy scored from Vurnon Anita’s cut-back with two minutes left to seal Newcastle’s win.
