A great ,match two equal teams. If you watched this match,id say you did no regret watching it.

Either team could have won it but it ended with a great draw where anyone could have won it.

Walters opened the score with a great goal. The defender slipped and Walters took absolute advantage and hammered the ball into the far corner,no chance for Begovic. That was the Irishman’s first goal of the season in the premier league. Later on another Irish international Steven Ireland scored in 25th minute of the game.He was assisted by the tall Peter Crouch.Ireland made a smart goal by getting Tremmel to come before chipping it over to score from 8 yards.

Stoke came back into the game when Bony scored from Guzman’s great cross,Bony headed the ball into the goal.In the 73th minute Swansea equalized when Nathan Dyer scored just 12 yards from the goal.Bony completed Swansea great come back when he scored in the  86 minute. But there was late drama when Stoke were awarded a penalty in the 96 minute.Adams stepped up and scored.Stoke manager must have been relived with going home with a point

Manchester United 1 Arsenal 0

This was an important maych for Robin Van Persie because he scored against his former club ,Arsenal. He scored in the 27th minute. It wasn’t the best of matches between the two teams.

The Netherlands star rose above Oliver Giroud and produced a soaring header that crashed into the top-right corner, too well-placed for Kieran Gibbs – who was on the line – to do anything about

Vidic was not able to come back to the game after a collision with goalkeeper David De Gea.

Arsenal had few chances with Ozil hitting he side netting on the 59th miute in the second half.

Rooney had another chance to score but failed to do so,by hitting the ball wide.

Vermaleen and Flamini were not able to play .

Twitter and facebook affecting football

Posted on

Twitter and facebook have effected football in many ways.

Positives :

  • Clubs can use facebook and twitter as marketing and attracting more people .Clubs become more accessible that means this is more comfortable for fans to support them so more people start to support the club
  • Fans can find out about starting line ups before matches through facebook and twitter.
  • Fans can follow the daily life of clubs like photos of players training and traveling to matches .
  • Fans can give there opinion on how the club is run and its performance.
  • Fans can buy products ,tickets and find out about fixtures through facebook.

Neagtive:

  • Players may get distracted by facebook and twitter and this might make there performance worse out on the pitch.
  • Players may get carried away and get into trouble when writing something on twitter or facebook.

I have come to a conclusion that these social networks can be very useful for clubs if there are used properly by clubs.
